🧸 Self-Care, Care Bears & AI: Finding Balance in 2025
Published about 2 months ago • 2 min read
Hey Reader,
What do self-care, Care Bears, and AI have in common? At first glance, not much. But if you're anything like me—a driven entrepreneur juggling growth, impact, and the realities of running a business—you might see the connection.
After the whirlwind of 2024—the wins, the milestones, and the inevitable exhaustion—I’ve realized that pacing is non-negotiable.
I break my yearly vision into quarterly goals because I love actually achieving goals—not just writing ambitious lists that lead nowhere. But here’s the thing: I’m prone to overworking (and overthinking, but that’s another story). Even with structured goals, I catch myself trying to do everything all at once—which, realistically, is not sustainable.

⚖️ Balancing Ambition with Self-Care
Like you, I have big goals (and little goals). But hustling non-stop isn’t the answer. Pacing yourself isn’t a sign of slowing down—it’s how you keep moving forward without burning out.
I often feel like I haven’t done much—until I look back months later and think, Oh wow, I actually did all of that. Maybe it’s a brain thing, but that feeling hit me recently, and right on cue, I received a Care Bear from a client—a surprise Amazon package that was the perfect little pick-me-up. Even better? It matches the Hello Kitty plushie my team gifted me for Christmas.
It was a meaningful reminder that I’m still making progress, even on my off days.
I work with neurodivergent entrepreneurs and neuroinclusive businesses, so I practice patience with my clients—but I also need to actively extend that same grace to myself.
🎤 Speaking on Neuroinclusion at She THRIVES!
Next week, I’ll be speaking at the She THRIVES! Summit about neuroinclusion through system customization. Because one size doesn’t fit all—and the extra bit of preparation can make all the difference in building a thriving team and business.

🦾 AI, Productivity & Sustainable Growth
Along with reflecting on self-care, I’ve been thinking about efficiency, growth, and how AI fits into that equation.
I recently attended an AI training on "Using AI to Thrive," which got me thinking about how AI can help leaders reduce decision fatigue, streamline operations, and create more space to focus on high-impact work.
I’m also considering bot creation and automation, and I’m working on a simple guide for leaders who want to integrate AI without burnout. If that sounds interesting, let me know! I’ll be sharing more in the coming months.
🎬 Final Thoughts: Prioritize What Fills Your Cup:
2025 is the year to work smarter, not harder. Whether that means using AI to automate workflows or simply allowing yourself to rest without guilt, it all comes down to balance.
Your business, your goals, and your success will still be there—but so should you. Take the time to prioritize what fills your cup, whether it’s squeezing a plushie, stepping away from the screen, or simply giving yourself permission to pause.
